RAY ANSIN-GLASS BEADS Click here to view works   With a life long fascination for fire and alchemy, it was a natural progression to start blowing glass in 1968. Inspired by the vibrance of spring flowers, I capture the essence of colour, encapsulating it forever into these heirloom glass beads. Using coloured glass sourced from around the world, I melt small pieces together and shape them, slowly constructing a flower. Fused, it is now pulled out to a long thin millifiore cane and then cut up forming small slices.
